PSAI Hosts Nuts & Bolts Workshop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The Portable Sanitation Association International (PSAI) will host the 2011 Nuts & Bolts Workshop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event will take place March 30 through April 2, 2011 at the Hilton Hotel Downtown.

For a city with the ideal mix of business and pleasure, there’s no place better than Milwaukee. Charming millions of visitors every year, Milwaukee plays host to guests looking for a fun getaway, as well as those in town to get deals done. But regardless of why they come here, they come back for one simple reason: Milwaukee knows how to have a good time.

The 2011 Nuts & Bolts Workshop is an excellent chance to meet and interact with portable restroom industry colleagues. The schedule of events consists of educational and social functions that help serve individual companies and the industry as a whole. Events include:

  • Board of Directors Meeting: Learn about the current state of the industry with updates from the Board and each PSAI Committee Chair. *Members are encouraged to attend Board meetings.
  • Site Visit: Tour Arnold’s Environmental Service Inc., a company that has been in business since 1958. In 1992, they introduced their line of portable restrooms to the area.
  • Workshops: Benefit from workshops covering current and relevant topics. Use the information and experiences provided by knowledgeable speakers, and apply it to your business.
  • Round Table Discussions: Come prepared to gain valuable insight on industry related issues. These information sharing, innovative and problem solving sessions are one of the utmost benefits of attending the Nuts & Bolts Workshop.
  • Certification Program: Market your company as PSAI Health & Safety Certified by learning the industry standards established by the PSAI, and completing the certification examination.

The PSAI will host a Tour of the Harley-Davidson Museum as a special event during the workshop. Harley-Davidson motorcycles bring heart-thumping adventure, life-changing freedom and a bit of rebellion into the lives of people around the world. But whether you were born to be wild or born to be mild makes no difference at the Harley-Davidson Museum. While at the museum you can:

  • Walk through exhibits that tell the stories of the extraordinary people, products, history and culture of Harley-Davidson.
  • Peek into a portion of the Archives never before open to the public, which is home to over 450 motorcycles and thousands of artifacts.
  • Stroll around the 20-acre museum campus, enjoy the riverwalk, or just sit back along the waterfront taking in the Milwaukee skyline.
  • Check out the unique Harley-Davidson Museum-inspired gifts available at The Shop.
  • Examine the industrial architecture both inside and outside the museum’s three buildings.

Lucille’s Rockin’ Pianos will also host a special event for those attending the Nuts & Bolts Workshop. What’s it like? Hmmm. Good question. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen or heard before. We could tell you what goes on at Lucille’s, but you probably wouldn’t believe us. It’s fun. It’s noisy. It’s animated. It’s cathartic. It’s hilarious. It’s music you grew up with and music that’s hot today. And it’s all brought to life by Lucille’s incredible piano entertainers.
